Fine Art Poster 11" x 17" Cheret Jouets

As Seen on Friends!

This poster is best known for hanging on the wall in Monica's apartment on the television show Friends.

It is reproduction of a famous 1885 vintage French advertisement poster for a department store called "Aux Buttes Chaumont," illustrated by Jules Chéret. 

The artwork depicts a festive scene advertising toys ("Jouets") and gifts for children.

The original was a lithograph created by Chéret, who is often called the "father of the modern poster".
