"Untitled (1965) - Edward Gorey

This puzzle depicts a crowded, macabre scene which includes a figure hovering in the sky and a bat atop a figure's head.  The original work was done in 1965.

Edward Gorey (1925–2000) was an American author and illustrator celebrated for his distinct, cross-hatched, black-and-white drawings that combined Victorian/Edwardian settings with macabre, surreal, and humorous narratives.

He published over 100 whimsical, often sinister books, including The Gashlycrumb Tinies
